Got a One4all Gift Card and heading straight for the obvious high-street names? You can also spend it online at Boots, Argos and Schuh, and that opens up a few purchases you would not normally put a gift card towards. Here are three ideas that fit this time of year, plus how paying online actually works.
How to pay online with your One4all Gift Card
- At the checkout, choose Visa or Visa Debit, not “gift card” or “gift voucher”. A few retailers offer “One4all Prepaid card” as a payment option; that works too.
- Enter the 16-digit number, the expiry date and the CVV2 from the scratch panel on the back. Use your own name and address for the cardholder and billing details.
- Keep your basket at or below the balance on the card. Online shops cannot split a payment across two methods, so part-payment only works in store.
- Added the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay? Then you can simply check out with that.
- Only shops on the One4all online list accept the card this way. The three below do. Check your One4all balance before you start.
1. Get ahead of the cold season at Boots
The NHS advises everyone in the UK to consider a daily vitamin D supplement from October to March, because there is not enough sunlight to make it yourself. Can I use my One4all Gift Card at any online shop?
No. Only at retailers on the One4all online list. The other retailers in the One4all network, Currys for example, take the card in store.
Is there a spending limit online?
One4all itself no longer states one; the only rule is that the basket cannot exceed your balance. Some retailers’ help pages still mention a £40 per-transaction limit from older anti-money-laundering rules, so if a larger payment is declined, that is probably why.
How do I check my One4all balance?

What if I return something I bought with the card?
The refund goes back onto the One4all card, so keep it until you are sure you are keeping the order.
